Privacy Policy

unfuckurlife ("we", "the app") is a habit and routine tracker operated from Brazil. This policy describes exactly what the app stores about you, who it is shared with, and how to get rid of it. It covers the website at unfuckurlife.com and the unfuckurlife mobile app.
What we collect
Only what you give us or what the app needs to work:
- Account details — your email address and a hashed copy of your password. We never store the password itself.
- Profile details — the display name, age, city, country, timezone and interface language you enter during onboarding or on your account page. All of these are optional except the timezone, which the app needs to know when to call you.
- Your habits and logs — the habits you track, your daily marks, notes, sleep records, bodyweight, training sessions and set logs, meditation and focus sessions, gratitude journal entries, the moods and urges you choose to record, and your answers during the morning and night calls. Some of this is health and fitness information, and some of it is personal — it is only ever what you enter yourself.
- Apps you choose to block — if you use Sleep's night shutter on Android, the app shows you your phone's apps so you can pick some. Only the apps you add are saved to your account, as their Android package names. The rest of the list never leaves your phone.
- Messages — your conversations with the in-app agent, including any voice messages or photos you send it.
- Audio — the app requests microphone access so you can record voice messages. Recording only happens when you press record. The app also generates spoken audio for your morning and night calls and stores it briefly so your phone can play it.
- Phone number — only if you choose to link WhatsApp, in which case we store the number the WhatsApp service reports back.
- Device token and id — if you use the mobile app, a push notification token and a random id the app creates for that installation, so a change made on one of your phones reaches the others.
- Crash reports — if the mobile app crashes, it sends us a report the next time you open it: the app's build, your phone model and system version, when it happened, and the technical trace of where the app failed. It holds nothing you entered in the app. If you are logged in, it is linked to your account. It goes only to our own server, never to a crash-reporting service, and is deleted after 30 days.
- Visits to our website — a cookie (
uful_vid) gives your browser a random id, so we can see which pages of the website and the sign-up quiz it opened, in what order and for how long, which ad or link brought it here, the kind of device and browser, and the country the visit came from. We do not store your IP address. If you create an account, this history is linked to it. We keep it for up to 13 months.
What the Android app can access on your phone
- Accessibility service — used only by the night shutter, and only if you switch it on in your phone's Accessibility settings. It tells the app which app has just opened, so the app can close the ones you chose during the hours you set. It cannot read what is on your screen, does not record what you type or tap, and sends nothing to us. You can switch it off at any time in the same settings.
- Display over other apps and full-screen alerts — to show your morning and night calls when they ring, and the shutter's screen when a closed app is opened.
- Alarms, notifications, vibration and running in the background — so calls and reminders arrive on time, even after the phone restarts.
- Microphone — only while you are recording a voice message, as described above.
The app also keeps a small copy of today's habits on your phone so you can mark them offline. Anything you mark offline is sent to us when you reconnect; uninstalling the app removes the copy.
What we do with it
We use it to run the app for you: to track your habits, to write your morning and night calls, to answer you in chat, and to show you your own history. We do not sell your data. The only advertising use is measuring our own ads with Meta, and only if you accept it (below).
Who else sees it
We share data only with the service providers below, which process it on our behalf to run the app. Each one receives only what it needs to do its job:
- Anthropic — the AI behind the in-app agent and the morning and night calls. Your chat messages, your call answers and the habit context needed to reply to them are sent to Anthropic's API.
- Google Cloud Text-to-Speech — turns your call scripts into audio. It receives the text of the call.
- Open-Meteo — provides the weather and air quality for your morning call. It receives the name of your city, never your account or anything else about you.
- WhatsApp (Meta) — only if you link it, and only the messages exchanged over that channel.
- Meta (Instagram and Facebook ads) — only if you accept the cookie banner on our website. Meta's pixel then runs on those pages, and we tell Meta when you start the quiz, finish it, begin checkout, create an account and pay, with your email address hashed, so we can measure which ads work. If you decline, Meta receives none of this.
We may also disclose data where the law requires it. Otherwise, nobody else receives it.
How long we keep it
Your account data is kept for as long as your account exists. Generated call audio is short-lived and cleared automatically. When you delete your account, everything goes — see below.
Deleting your account and your data
You can delete your account yourself, at any time, from the Delete account section at the bottom of your account page. It asks for your password, and it is immediate and permanent: your profile, habits, logs, chat history, generated audio and any linked WhatsApp session are erased. There is no recovery and no grace period.
If you cannot sign in, email contact@unfuckurlife.com from the address on the account and we will delete it for you.
Security
Traffic to unfuckurlife.com is encrypted with HTTPS. Passwords are stored hashed. Data is held on a server in Germany.
Children
unfuckurlife is not intended for anyone under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes
If this policy changes materially we will update the date at the top of this page.
