The main quest
Don't let the side quests get in the way of the main one.
We have a finite amount of time on this earth. If you want to be exceptional at anything, you have to accept the sacrifices that come with it. That means prioritizing.
- If you want to be an exceptional mathematician, you have to put in the hours of study.
- If you want a great physique, you have to train, eat, and sleep properly — every day.
- If you want to make money, you have to work twice as hard as your competitors.
Having a broad range of skills is a good thing. But if you want to be truly great at something, it has to come first.
So you have to know when to say no. Side quests are fine — they make life richer. They just have to stay side quests.
Define your priorities. Know where you're heading. Then put in the work.
What's a side quest you've had to say no to?
