Look up
Want an example of true greatness — something far bigger than you? Just look up.
During the day, you'll see clouds: huge masses of air and water stretching thousands of meters into the sky. It's one of the most ordinary sights in our lives, and yet it shows you how small we really are.
Nature is full of this feeling. There's a word for it: the sublime. You feel it watching waves crash against the shore, carrying enough force to tear apart whatever stands in their way. And then there are natural disasters — earthquakes, tornadoes, volcanoes. They reshape our planet and release so much energy that the only fair comparison is nuclear weapons.
Look up at night, and you'll see the most beautiful thing of all: the universe itself. Stars, galaxies, moons, and planets — all small enough to hide behind your fingertip. But if you could actually measure them, you'd find bodies so large your imagination can't comprehend them.
If you want to understand what true greatness means, look up. Nature already has the answer.
